Pan the Dreamer

At the entry exams Pan was recognized as a child prodigy as he scored the highest score and was automatically allowed into obelisk blue even though he was the youngest the school.At first Pan enjoyed his duels but after a while it started to get hard for Pan to find a real challenge.Soon after this Pan started to have strange dreams of a girl, her brother and a man stranded on an island, but his real torment is how his dream would always end with a rough street looking kid laughing at him. Since Pan's Dreams appeared, his attitude when dueling became more aggressive and even started to insult his opponents.After months of this behavior, he decided it was time to give up his dream of dueling and return home.


When Pan returned home he was no longer his care free self, he was more strict, more uptight. Before long he refused to communicate with anyone not even his dear maid who had looked after him during his time at his home. Pan soon became bored at home and started to wander around Domino city he noticed a group of thugs bullying the Giraffes. Pan sprinted towards the Thugs and spoke. "Leave these animals alone they have done nothing to you!" but after trying to talk it out and not getting no where Pan had become enraged, Pan got a rock and flung it towards 1 of the 3 thugs, hittting him in the chest and winding him. Seeung how serious Pan was the other 2 ran of leaving the thug on the floor gasping for air. Since then Pan had visited the animals everyday and fed them.


As Pan continued to feed the animals he noticed a young man staring at him, soon he asked for Pan's name. Pan who had been taunted by his nightmares and been confinded in his own thoughts had noticed that his person was different from others.Pan said in a calm tone "Well everyone calls me Pan so I guess you can call me this as well" Pan smiled "and your name?" The boy hesitated then said "Call me Taw" Pan and Taw continued there conversation and had much in common. Pan had finnaly found someone he could open up to.

Several years had passed and Pan was now 16 he had become like his old care free chilled self again. You would think as time went on he would become more mature but he became fun and playful.Pan and Taw still kept in contact with each other as well and now their taking the time out to visit the Safari Island once again by traveling on a boat. As the afternoon passes by Pan spent most the afternoon gazing at the stars before drifting off to sleep.

During that night Pan was disturbed by the sound of static, he awoke to see the captain unconcious and the controls short circutied. Pan dashed towards the controls in an attempt to fix them but was struck by the electricity and knocked unconcious. Many seemingly endless days passed before Pan was concious again, he was in his family home with his maid looking over him.Pan looking confused screamed "Taw! where is Taw!" the maid tried to keep Pan calm and said to him that they only found Him ammong the rubble of the ship. Pan face was struck with distraught, the only person he could ever speak to Taw was like his big brother and now he wa gone.Pan fell into a deep depression and excluded himself from the outside world.


Soon after that incident Pan ran away with the help of his maid he managed to get to domino city, hoping to have a fresh new start by himself. But after entering Domino city and being only 16 he found it hard to get food or shelter. Then one day he overheard of group of people speaking about underground dueling tourneys. That same night he had another strange dream but this time he when he woke up a deck had appeared beside him. With this deck he went to these underground dueling tourneys and now goes by a new nickname. Death The Kid. But after many underground duels he could see the effects it had on his opponents when he lost, it would leave them traumatised, and in pain. So after his realization Pan left the underground with all the money he won and his death deck. Pan, now lost in his own thoughts wishes to find the answer to what lead to all this. The source of his dreams.....
